The book section contains eight categories. Coffee Table books are full colour, very impressive, often large format books, with plenty of large photographic plates. They are an ideal gift or centrepiece and do contain some writen information. Star Gazing is for the general astronomer, particularly the beginner. The books in this section focus on basic astronomy and finding your way around the night sky. Educational books are more in depth textbooks, some of which are at university level. Spaceflight is a subject that interests many people, from Appollo to the Space Shuttle. Astrophysics books are specialist and usually pitched at quite a high level. They are mainly for the enthusiast. Astrophotography is very popular with amateur astronomers and can give very rewarding results with less equipment than you may think. Popular science books are mainly about quantum theory and cosmology, very interesting to read and usually very accessible. Finally, a section of 2007 calendars is included.
